It's the year 1885, for Christ's sake. Please don't tell anyone I said that last part, especially the Lutherans. But how can any modern person still be arguing for slavery? To not see the sin of "owning" another person, regardless of circumstance or race? It's immoral to the core. Slavery in this country is a permanent stain on our history, and we call it the "land of the free" while some of us murdered our siblings to preserve the former status quo. That phrase is a fucking joke if we cannot back it up. Again, please ignore that last sentence. My ink well is running dry and I am unable to rewrite this. Fuck!
And goddamned P.T. Barnum is out here doing the same shit, but with animals! Dance for me, dance, dance, you useless fodder. It's depraved and offensive to the sensibilities. There was once a wise man who described all the world as a stage, with all of our species as mere players, and he was right. Human or not. Flora or fauna. It doesn't matter to the reptiles in charge because it's simply the beginning of the aggression if we do not stand strong in this moment. Sorry about the goddamn just now. If we could keep that away from the Catholics, I would really appreciate it.
Shit. Anyway, the point is to be equitable as well as ethical in all of life's fucking transactions. Sorry. I was reading a paper by this asshole, I mean gentleman, named Gilles de la Tourette, and he has an interesting theory. Something about having tics in your speech when you are reacting in real time, the motherfucker. Sorry. Fuck! He may have a point, but the takeaway here should be slavery is bad, and zoos and carnivals are bad, and I'm cranky because I'm literally eating tree bark right now since that's all I've got in the larder. Goddamn it!
My apologies for all of that. Why the fucking fuck did I start a blog in 1885?!
