Flash mobs being a thing now

Has got me thinking about how Manifest Destiny could be viewed as a slo-slo-mo flash mob prequel.

Quicksand won’t drown you. It’s not like a boa wrapped around you. It’s the reverse. Boa squeezes the life out of you. You know you’re dying.

Quicksand osmotically empties you as you bask in its warmth, as unaware as the frog in its ever-warming kettle.

Boas are fairly easy to avoid. Quicksand? Much harder.
