Just crushed a fly as I cleaned around the sink. Didn’t think of the deed until it was done. The following internal dialog ensues:

That really wasn’t necessary.

Really? You know very well it would have been annoying as hell later. I don’t want flies in the house.

Maybe we should get fly traps, a sorta catch and release program.

Doesn’t mean we shouldn’t have it again. What makes you think that we’re more special than that fly?
