Look where we are. Somewhere between the infinitude of the edge of the universe and the infinitesimal Big Bang that gave rise to it. Wander one way and you’re caught up in astrophysics and cosmology and unending expansion; wander the other and it’s Russian nesting dolls: Bodies to organs to cells to molecules to atoms to fermions, hadrons, etal; then to those strange, up, down, and charmed quarks. And does it end there? Is there an infinitude of the infinitesimal?
