Perspective

Imagine being frogmarched down an infinitely long hallway of ever increasing esoterica. As you’re forced forward the art on the walls - starts with childhood drawings, coloring books, awkwardly placed mirrors of yourself in embarrassing situations, and so much more; so ever increasing in relevance that you forget you’re being frogmarched.
At some point you tiredly look forward and note the hallway ends as a point. You’re going to be crushed if you continue down this path of an ever shrinking hallway. But then rationality steps in and says, “No worry. That’s just perspective. The hallway’s always the same size as we go along.”
Well, that may be true in art. But not in life.
